Role Overview
The Digital Experience Monitoring (DEM) Tool Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the Experience Management Office (XMO) is responsible for the expert-level management and optimization of DEM tools, such as SysTrack, to monitor and enhance the digital experiences of employees. This role involves configuring, maintaining, and utilizing these tools to gather comprehensive data on the performance of digital work environments, identifying issues that impact user experience, and providing actionable insights to improve overall productivity and satisfaction.
Main activities include
- Collect and analyze performance data to identify trends and potential issues
- Configuring and fine-tuning DEM tools like SysTrack to capture relevant data on user interactions, system performance, and digital environment health.
- Continuously monitoring digital experiences across the organization, analyzing data to detect patterns, identify potential issues, and evaluate the performance of IT services from the end-user perspective.
- Developing detailed reports and dashboards that provide insights into digital experience metrics, such as system responsiveness, application performance, and user behavior, and presenting these findings to the XMO Experience Manager and other stakeholders
- Helping XMO team members understand data coming form DEM tools and its relationship to other datasets
- Continuous learning and adaptability to emerging technologies.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of the SysTrack suite, including SysTrack Workspace Analytics, SysTrack Cloud and related components.
- Adhering to security best practices in the administration of SysTrack to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of monitoring data.
- Working collaboratively with other IT teams to integrate SysTrack with other systems and tools.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation frameworks.
- Utilize automation tools and frameworks to design, implement, and manage automated workflows across the IT infrastructure.
- Streamline repetitive tasks, ensuring consistency, reliability, and scalability through automation.
- Lead efforts to identify, evaluate, and implement automation opportunities within the organization.
- Strong documentation skills for recording configurations, procedures, and issue resolutions
- Proficiency in administering Windows Server and/or desktop operating systems.
- Strong SQL skills for database management and data analysis.
- Demonstrated ability in solution designing and architecting.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration within cross-functional teams.
