Delta / Diptesol Qualified English Teacher Trainer

TEFL Iberia is a modern teaching training school in Barcelona. We are an international team of professionals with a passion for teaching, learning, and education and we are looking for a temporary TEFL course tutor to join our team over a busy period in September and October. Main Responsibilities: Preparing and delivering input sessions.Observing teaching practice and assessing trainees.Giving detailed feedback.Marking assignments.Working with the course coordinator to ensure a smooth moderation.Minimum 4 years teaching experience in a range of backgrounds.Demonstrable teacher training experience.A passion for teaching.Knowledge of the Trinity CertTESOL syllabus and organisation.Knowledge of and contacts in the Barcelona teaching community.Recent experience teaching young learners.Job Details: The job is temporary to cover seasonal high demand or larger groups, but we would like to establish a long-term relationship with a new tutor for ongoing sickness and holiday cover.
Timetable: Flexible, but most likely Monday - Friday 09.00 - 12.00 and/or 16.00 - 18.30
Start Date: Monday 30th September (training and observation of current tutors to begin before, to be decided based on candidate availability).
Salary: 20€-25€/hour, depending on the number of hours worked and contract status.
