Offer Description
The selected person will join the Vascular and Renal Translational Research Group and will perform the following tasks for the research project "Deciphering the role of SNCA in the regulation of autophagy and renal disease: mechanistic, therapeutic and prognostic implications", included in the research line "Acute kidney injury and renal senescence", funded by the Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII), file PI21/00204:
Cell culture, lentiviral production and infection, RNA extraction and Qrt-PCR, protein extraction and Western blot, immunoperoxidase and immunofluorescence staining.
Experimental work with animals, genotyping, maintenance of mouse lines.
Writing of scientific articles.

The amount granted for the financing of personnel costs is 31,000 €, this amount will cover the gross annual salary of the person hired and the costs of the employer's social security contribution.
Funding of the activity: Deciphering the role of SNCA in the regulation of autophagy and renal disease: mechanistic, therapeutic and prognostic implications.
Duration of contract: The project work program foresees personnel costs until 12/31/2024. If there are modifications in the work program and/or budget of the project, the possibility of modifying the period will be assessed (the duration of the contract is linked to the specific funding of the project/agreement).
Eligibility criteria
a) Academic curriculum and complementary training - 30 points.
Valued:
- Master's Degree in Biomedicine or Biotechnology: 15 points
- Master's degree with a grade of 8.5 or higher: 10 points
- Accredited level of written and spoken English B2 or higher: 5 points
b) Certified professional experience - 50 points
Valued:
- Research experience of 5 months or more in a biomedical research laboratory: 15 points
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques such as qrt-PCR, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, microscopy experience, etc.: 15 points
- Knowledge of mouse models of kidney disease, specifically the ischemic acute kidney injury model: 10 points
- Experience in scientific software tools: Image J, Image Lab, Graph Pad: 10 points
c) Competence test or interview - 20 points
