Job Responsibilities Licensing and Regulatory support during decommissioning and dismantling activities for nuclear plants and facilities.
Planning and execution of decommissioning and dismantling activities for nuclear plants and facilities.
Understanding of the radiological characterization, segmentation techniques, in-plant materials lifting, handling, sorting and packaging according to the nuclear requirements.
Working with designing and planning of dismantling processes, specifying equipment, writing technical and licensing documentation, estimating costs and durations, and supervising execution activities in the field.
Working on projects in Europe (mainly in Spain) with potential opportunities in Japan, Korea, Canada, and the USA.
Minimum Requirements Education at university level in engineering or science degree.
Additional training or specialization in the nuclear field would be valuable.
Some experience in nuclear facilities licensing processes is required.
Some experience in the decommissioning of nuclear facilities would be an added value.
Good writing and speaking skills in Spanish and English are required; proficiency in French, Dutch, Italian, and/or German would be beneficial.
Experience with databases, design of sampling plans, and use of geostatistical analysis codes would also be beneficial.
