The team delivers world-class rental (heavy rents and rental services) & used customer services.Job SummaryAs a Dealer Rental Operations Manager, you will assess Dealer Rental Services Operations to identify either structural and/or operational issues. You will also be responsible for establishing corrective actions/recommendations as well as overseeing the execution of the plan with the concerned dealer.What You Will DoProvide in depth analysis of dealer rental operations, identifying strengths and weaknesses as well as implementing structural improvement plans. Improvement plans will have clear linkage to operational targets as well as both short term and long-term growth objectives.While not exhaustive, this includes operations, resources, training, processes, fleet mix, fleet management, coverage and financials.Develop, Manage and Execute operational improvement programs in alignment with long and short-term rental growth strategies and operational goals. This will be done in collaboration with the dealer.Providing internal and external training to both Cat Rental team and dealer rental teams to address shortfalls.What You HaveDeep rental service operations expertise.Ability to convey a compelling message and influence dealers to implement action plans to address operational or structural shortfalls.Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.Negotiating and Value Selling: Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner.Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization
