SD Worx Sales Excellence Team is seeking a Deal Pricing Specialist, responsible for the accurate and efficient implementation of pricing strategies across all sales channels.
This is a pivotal role within our sales process. The Deal Pricing Specialist will be instrumental in building winning proposals, while maintaining pricing data integrity and collaborating with the sales team, pre-sales & strategic pricing team.
The selected candidate will mainly be supporting the Benelux and Southern Europe sales Teams.
Key Responsibilities Pricing ExecutionImplement pricing changes and promotions in the company's pricing systems accurately and on schedule.Monitor and verify the accuracy of pricing updates across all platforms.Maintain the integrity of pricing data and ensure consistency across all systems.Ensure Quotes and Order Forms are approved within pricing and discount policies.Run day-to-day quote and pricing build up / approvals.Collaboration and SupportProvide proactive support and guidance to the sales team to help drive new deals as well as up-sell opportunities (tactical pricing).Assist the sales team with pricing-related inquiries and issues.Manage escalations to senior leadership when applicable.Participate in the development and implementation of pricing policies and procedures.Process ImprovementIdentify opportunities to enhance pricing processes and system functionalities.Participate in projects aimed at improving pricing implementation efficiency and accuracy.Data Management and AnalysisGenerate and distribute regular internal pricing performance reports.Provide analysis and insights on won & lost past deals priced and feedback to the strategic pricing director:Comparative analysis: per market, per segment, per solution.Qualitative analysis: Insights for management discussions on alignment of pricing strategy and market reality.Risk analysis: perform sensitivity analysis to see how changes in key assumptions would have impacted a deal's success.Synergy analysis: compare deal synergies assumptions (cost savings, revenue enhancements).Market reaction analysis: analyze market reaction to any new pricing enhancement launched.ProfileThe ideal candidate:
Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to prioritize to meet business needs.Strong financial modeling and analysis skills.Program and project management skills.Adept at business partnering and working with cross-functional teams, building meaningful business relationships along the way.Willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic; self-directed and resourceful.Has a minimum of 3 years' experience in a deal desk, finance, contracts, sales operations, or revenue role.Has a thorough understanding of the sales process and the ability to navigate and progress long, complex sales cycles.Experience in Sales Operations in a software or service company can be a plus.Experience with SFDC tool can also be a plus.Fluent English is required as it will be the working language.Location and ReportingPreferred location: Spain (Malaga / Granada / Barcelona).Reporting to the Commercial Pricing Director.
