Salesperson - Iberia Coverage Citi is looking to hire an experienced salesperson to work as part of its highly successful Spread Products business, focusing on the Iberian client base.
What you will do:Refine and implement sales/marketing strategy to improve Citi's client footprint and maximize associated revenue while working with management/colleagues to establish a clear marketing plan with defined priorities, market penetration and revenue goals.Leverage your contact network and introduce them to the Citi offering.Work closely to understand client needs with the aim of increasing client satisfaction and Citi revenue.Advise team in strategic positioning and closing transactions with various internal stakeholders (trading, legal, credit, and risk etc.).Forge a relationship with Citi Banking and Citi Private Banking to leverage Citi's franchise.Lead strong governance and controls through close partnerships with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, and Finance to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure.Obtain and maintain all registrations/licenses which are required for your role, within the appropriate timeframe.What we will need from you:To be considered for this role, you will need to have had a client-facing role working with Spread Products and have established relationships with Iberian Credit investors.A history of building and maintaining client relationships with the correct client base and strong commercial awareness.Detailed knowledge of primary/secondary and macro trends, credits, CDS and Credit Index trading, and risk management.Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally and externally, often at a senior level.Advanced judgment and conducts in-depth quantitative or qualitative analysis to solve problems and develop new, innovative solutions.Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.What we will provide you:By joining Citi Madrid, you will not only be part of a business casual workplace with a hybrid working model (up to 2 days working at home per week), but also receive a competitive base salary (which is annually reviewed), and enjoy a whole host of additional benefits including Pension Plan.
