Job Description: We are seeking a Product Owner to work closely with Product Management, Stakeholders, Development, and UX/UI teams.
The primary responsibilities will include defining user stories, creating a product backlog using JIRA, and providing the development team with clear vision and goals for product projects.
As a Product Owner, you will be integral in aligning the development process with the broader product vision and ensuring continuous product progress and updates.
This role requires an individual with strong leadership abilities who can work collaboratively and guide teams through all stages of product development.
What you'll be doing: Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with prospective users, business partners, and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements.Product Vision: Communicate and maintain the product vision throughout the development process, ensuring all teams align with the goal.Product Roadmap: Develop a cohesive product roadmap based on the product vision and ensure that milestones are met.Backlog Management: Maintain and prioritise the product backlog, adapting to changing requirements and ensuring the most important tasks are addressed.Oversee Development Stages: Manage the design and development phases, ensuring the team meets deadlines and objectives.Monitor Progress: Evaluate product progress at each stage, from concept to release, ensuring quality and consistency.Sprint and Updates: Work with the development team to deliver updates, status reports, and participate in product sprints.Meetings: Regularly participate in team meetings, sprints, and cross-functional discussions to ensure clarity and alignment.What we're looking for: Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or Computer and Information Science required; Master's degree preferred.Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role in product development.Hands-on experience using JIRA for backlog management and sprint planning.Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and familiarity with development cycles.Excellent communication skills to effectively relay product vision and progress to stakeholders and teams.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise work in a dynamic environment.Collaborative mindset with experience working closely with development, UX/UI, and product management teams.Analytical skills to evaluate progress, performance, and the success of product features.
