We are looking for a Data Visualization Expert to join our Data Team in Sant Cugat del Valles.
PurposeThe Data Visualization Expert is responsible for leveraging the enterprise data to efficiently drive Fluidra's continued growth. You will support the Global Data Team and Information Technology organization with deliverables required for internal leadership, board of directors, and investors.
Skills PreferredAbility to collaborate with the architects and design specialists to determine the best data design to support the optimal Power BI reporting experience.Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and ability to conduct report and dashboard requirement gathering workshops and document critical aspects of the requirements and articulate success criteria.Stakeholder management and engagement skills - able to identify and partner with stakeholders to ensure active collaboration in the design process to understand user needs, obtain ideas, insights and input, and work with stakeholders to build prototypes and coordinate testing to validate the product.Ability to manage competing and changing priorities.Knowledge PreferredProficient in SQL.Ideally have experience using Power BI (including dataflows, Power Query M, and DAX).Proficient in data preparation and integration.Experience with complex RLS implementation in Power BI.Detail-focused and proud of your sense of accuracy.Able to understand and translate technical requirements into non-technical language.Able to document outcomes of business and data analysis in a clear and concise manner.Have a 'Can do', proactive attitude, with a proven record of delivering project outcomes.A natural collaborator with a learning mindset, happy to share knowledge and learn from others.Experience in a large global organization (preferably in financial services).Main TasksPartner with key business stakeholders, upstream infrastructure platform engineering teams, and downstream data consumers to understand data and translate business requirements into technical design of building scalable data pipelines.Assist with the development and maintenance of PBI reports and dashboards on different functional areas.Build complex queries using SQL and data models in Power BI that support the end design.Set up and maintain Global Reward PBI Security (RLS, AD Groups and Workspaces).Optimize existing Power Queries and Dataflows.Work with Business translators and functional leads to understand data issues/needs and develop plans to remedy and test solutions.Assist with the engineering requirements to integrate legacy and modern data stack.Document and explain assumptions and steps of data queries/models.Liaise with key stakeholders to identify new areas for analysis and changes to processes that improve accuracy and consistency.Relevant Work ExperienceBachelor's Degree with 3+ years of experience in data reporting and architecture.Microsoft Power BI expertise.Data Architecture & Data Warehouse expertise.Experience working with global teams placed in different locations is a plus.Good knowledge and understanding of the Consumer and industrial products sector.Good functional understanding of solutions supporting business processes.English: Fluent written and oral.SkillsMicrosoft Power BI.Experience with tools that Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) Data.Experience with Data Warehousing technology (MS SQL Server, Azure, Data Lakes, Snowflake).Software development methodologies - (Agile, Lean).Sant Cugat del Vallès
