Location: Bilbao HQ Office Data Steward Role Purpose: Responsible for creating, modifying or deleting data within a specific domain (e.g.
Procurement, Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Supply Chain) in accordance with company data standards and policies.
The Data Steward ensures that master data is defined according to the Data Governance policies and standards for data objects in scope.
He/she sets up data in the related applications: master and slave systems and he/she executes the data cleansing initiatives.
Responsibilities: Challenges requests for new data creations/modifications (e.g.
for completeness, duplication), accepts/rejects.
Enters data in relevant systems: ERPs etc.
Assures data flows from master system to slave systems.
Produces SLAs and KPIs to ensure high performance.
Troubleshoots master data issues and resolves discrepancies.
Suggests process improvements toward data quality, accuracy and security, under the supervision of the Governor.
Suggests/Executes data cleansing initiatives.
Contributes to issue resolution across data objects.
Follows the master data maintenance process, including the control points in the process; Guides other stakeholders in the end-to-end master data maintenance process (from requester to validator) to follow the current process, procedures and controls.
Contributes to projects involving management and/or migration of Master Data.
To be successful in this role you will need to: Have excellent Excel skills Have good knowledge of SAP Hana, Concur, Workday, Power BI Experience in Procurement, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service Department Be able to work independently Be fluent in both written and spoken English; Be a team player and self motivated.
Be Pro-active, Diplomatic and Open minded.
