Data Solution Architect Our opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Solution Architect to join our international Data and Business Intelligence organization.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and technically leading new and enhancing existing data applications, ensuring they run in a robust and performant manner.
Solutions will be designed for both local and global customers, primarily working with cloud-based solutions in both AWS and Azure.
You will proactively expand your expertise in both existing and new functionalities, along with best practices in the data and BI space, applying these learnings in your daily job.
Your role As a Data Solution Architect, your main responsibilities will involve: Participate in architecture communities and architecture governance.
Create solution designs and estimates for complex data, AI, and BI proposals.
Follow up on proposals with detailed designs and technically lead implementations.
Contribute to blueprint/architecture pattern creation to enhance reusability.
Work with an international team, engaging with different stakeholders and IT colleagues from various cultures, producing results that adhere to standards and best practices.
Apply constant learning, supporting both innovative and high-quality solutions.
Write technical documentation such as architecture specifications.
Make hands-on contributions to experiments with new technologies.
Your Skills and Experience As a Data Solution Architect, your skills and qualifications will ideally include: University level education or equivalent.
Experience architecting data solutions.
Experience with machine learning and AI solutions.
Experience with data pipeline tools, especially one or more of Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Informatica, Databricks, Snowflake, and AWS Glue.
Database and lake experience with one or more of Azure SQL, DB2, Azure Data Lake, Databricks lakehouse, Snowflake, AWS RDS, or similar.
Knowledge of CI/CD.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as code solutions such as Terraform is an advantage.
Knowledge of containers and container orchestration such as K8 is an advantage.
Knowledge of APIs is an advantage.
Knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI is an advantage.
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Scala, and SQL is an advantage.
Experience in the insurance industry is an advantage.
Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Proactivity is a must.
Excellent English and communication skills.
