About the job: We are seeking a talented Data Scientist / Data Engineer to expand our capabilities in efficiently implementing data-driven models and trading algorithms. In this role, you will:
Collaborate with Data Scientists to create well-structured and efficient code for trading indicators, machine learning models, and trading algorithms.Promote best practices in software development and code quality within the team.Act as a key liaison with IT to enhance our data integration and algorithmic trading platforms.Develop scalable, reusable solutions that can be applied across all branches of Global Markets.Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.Experience in the financial industry or a strong interest in finance and trading.Proven track record of working on data-driven projects, ideally within a quantitative environment.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java and/or Q.Strong knowledge of time-series vector databases like KDB+ and/or data manipulation tools like Pandas, SQL and Spark.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and software development best practices.Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.Languages: English: High.
