The project consists of a collaboration between companies and universities to research and propose improvements in industrial manufacturing processes. The project will be focused on predictive maintenance to improve safety and optimize industrial manufacturing processes. Your work will involve state-of-the-art research, data collection, machine learning model generation, validation, and implementation. General Responsibilities: Conduct state-of-the-art research related to machine learning and industrial safety systems. Collect, preprocess, and analyze data to support the research areas. Design, develop, and validate machine learning and deep learning models. Implement defect detection and prevention systems to optimize manufacturing processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams. Use MLOps frameworks to deploy and monitor machine learning models efficiently. Document processes, findings, and results to support research publications and project milestones. What you bring along: Requirements: Educated to Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Data Science, Data Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar. Minimum 3 years of experience in a role related to data science, machine learning, or related topics. Experience in programming, specifically in Python. Experience in using Python libraries for Machine Learning (Scikit, CuML), Deep Learning (Tensorflow, Pytorch) and eXplainable AI (SHAP, Lime). Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git. Knowledge of DVC for data versioning and management. Understanding of MLOps frameworks for model deployment and tracking (MLFlow, Airflow). Languages: Minimum C1 level in English. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communication skills to share technical concepts effectively.
