This is an entry level position intended for a professional with minimal experience that will challenge and grow their technical skills in Data Science.
About the Role
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support on the Python development of new algorithms, methods, statistical models and business models, providing insight into structured and unstructured data.
Quickly learn and pilot the use of tools, data sources and analytical techniques needed to answer a wide range of critical business questions and to improve status quo.
Bring understanding of one or more areas of data science and demonstrate practical knowledge of techniques.
Help develop new quantitative methods with the aim of improving processes in various projects and developing new analysis opportunities by integrating existing and new data sources.
Role Requirements:
1-3 years of experience as Data Scientist
Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics or in a quantitative field
Academic experience in a multidisciplinary data & analytics environment or in research.
Experience in predictive modelling and large data analysis.
Experience in Python
Experience in SQL
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and presentation skills
Interest to grow and develop in the Finance sector
Fluent English (written and verbal)
