ResponsibilitiesCollecting large amounts of unruly (spatial) data and transforming it into a more usable format.Work continuously with Python and Spark in the Azure cloud.Staying on top of analytical techniques such as machine learning, deep learning, and text analytics.Identify patterns in data, as well as spotting trends that can help improve the business's bottom line.Communicating and collaborating with both Software Engineering and with the Maps Operations Team globally.Share and present your data analysis insights to key decision makers to enable them to achieve company strategy.Work in a hybrid and flexible way that will allow you to find the perfect work-life balance.What you'll needUniversity Degree in computer science, Mathematics, statistics or similar.3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist.Experience with Microsoft cloud computing: Azure & Databricks.Programming experience with Python and SQL.Fair statistical knowledge.Experience in slicing and dicing of large data sets to draw insights.Experience creating Mathematical models, algorithms, prediction models using Machine Learning.Experience with data visualization (storytelling).What is nice to haveExperience with PySpark.Previous Experience with Spatial Data.What we offerA competitive compensation package, of course.
