Key Responsibilities
Development of advanced artificial intelligence (statistical, machine and deep learning) models to extract the chemical, physical, and biological properties and functions embedded in a massive data set of complex molecular structures.
Development of the infrastructure and workflow for data collection (numerical data, text, images from the physical-chemical characterization, etc.).
Development of complementary multiscale molecular simulation models for physico-chemical interpretability.
Timely implementation of the work plan and reporting.
Requirements
BSc or BEng in Data Science, Physics, Software/Telecomm Eng, Chemistry or a related field. MSc, MEng or in related fields will also be positively evaluated.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Conditions
Permanent contract associated with the Momentum Project for a duration of 4 years.
41098,95 € annual gross salary according to the salary tables of CSIC.
You will benefit from an extensive training plan that includes a Master in Data Science, specialized courses in Artificial Intelligence, a research stay at European research institutions, and further training courses in the required technical and soft skills, as well as participation in several conferences, among others.
Start of contract: before December 31, 2024.
Workplace
You will carry out your work at the Institute for Materials Science of Barcelona of CSIC (ICMAB-CSIC, www.icmab.es) located at the campus of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), in the group for Nanostructured Molecular Materials for Biomedicine (https://nanomol-bio.icmab.es/), and in close collaboration with the Photonics Engineering Group at the University of Cantabria (PEG-UC).
