About The Role
We are looking for a Junior Data Research Analyst that will help us build a reliable and scalable database of sustainability information, through research on Companies' CSR and ESG indicators methodology and quality assurance processes. The role provides an opportunity to understand the reporting standards that exist and how companies' sustainability performance is measured.
What You'll Be Doing
Working as a Junior Data Research Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring that we have the most accurate exposures and controversies data, in order to provide the most reliable sustainability impact measurements. The Junior Data Research Analyst role will include, but not be limited to, the following activities:
Collect, verify, and process sustainability data sourced from various financial, exchange, and government regulator websites and official reports.Assist in data collection projects through data analysis, quality assurance, and data monitoring.Conduct frequent research on ESG reporting standards and assist in the development of methodologies for the collection of best-in-class data.Mentor and train external contractors and internal team on ESG indicators and sustainability frameworks.Perform ad hoc team projects as needed.Location
The role is based in Madrid. Way of Working: Remote / Hybrid (Full-Time)
Requirements
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills (minimum C1 level - proficient user).
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Finance, Economics, International Relations, Accounts, Environmental Studies or a similar field of study.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, database applications, and BI tools (e.g., Quicksight).
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving skills, with clear attention to detail to work with complex data sets.
- Highly motivated, independent, proactive, and deeply passionate about sustainability and impact.
