At ING we are looking for a Data Protection Project Expert Your role and work environment: We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Data Protection Project Expert to join our Data Protection Executive Office Team of Data Management. The responsibility of this team is to ensure that data protection requirements are properly and efficiently implemented without business disruption and facilitating business.
Your key responsibilities: Coordinate and execute the implementation of privacy projects from the First Line of Defense and ensure compliance with data protection regulation in a proactive way, pursuing an excellent customer experience. Consult and align priorities with the rest of data protection team members and liaise with DPO (within the Second Line of Defense) when necessary.Implement personal data retention and deletion project.Assess and monitor third parties that collaborate with ING, including international data transfers.Identify potential inefficiencies in data protection related processes and propose remediation and automated solutions.Handle risks and issues registered in the GRC platform of ING: monitor status and lead or support remediation.Perform periodic control testings and risks assessments on data protection. Reporting of results.Support in the design of data protection policies and procedures ensuring minimum business disruption and implement them across the organization in a friendly and understandable manner.Create smart OKR and KPIs.Elaborate training & awareness materials and deliver data protection training sessions.Ensure proper document management to meet the accountability principles.Manage dependencies, impediments, and priorities of the local areas (business, technology, etc.) to assure their support of the needs of privacy projects. 5 years of experience managing data protection & privacy projects. Having a technical background is well considered.Passionate for data and customer-obsessed professional aiming to propose internal and external customers friendly and automated solutions.You're comfortable working with IT and legal teams.Focus on delivery and on value-creation.Excellent communication skills.Advanced level of English and Office 365 tooling (e.g. Excel & Powerpoint).Desired:Certifications related to data protection and technical/security background.Experience working with data protection market solutions.What do we offer?
