We are Hiring a Data Protection Officer who will lead the data protection strategy and ensure compliance with DPA across our organization. Apply now!Job SummaryHMO on Day 1Receive promising perks and rewardsExperience travel opportunitiesGet recognized for what you doAchieve work-life balanceImprove exponentially with enhanced learningResponsibilitiesMonitor the organization's compliance with the Data Privacy Act, issuance, and guidelines by the National Privacy Commission.Serve as the contact person of government entities and private individuals relating to all matters concerning data privacy and security issues or concerns.Inform, advise and issue recommendations to the organization and its management relating to its data processing activities.Identify and maintain processing activities, measures, projects, programs, or systems and records.Check for compliance of 3rd party service providers who use the data of the organization and its customers as well as any relative Data Sharing Agreement and other contractual obligations.Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments with regard to the organization's internal systems as well as its products and services.Handle questions and complaints addressed to the organization from the data subjects relating to their information being held by the organization.Prepare and create an incident management system and submission of relevant documents to the NPC in the event of a suspected or actual data breach.Conduct employee training relating to the handling, security, confidentiality, and management of data within the organization.Coordinate with other Department Heads to ensure DPA compliance and process alignment.Provide feedback and implement a review process that strongly emphasizes privacy by design and privacy by re-design.Hold the DPO role in a hold-over capacity until a successor or replacement is found.Adhere to Management strategies in assisting with Data Entry-related tasks as delegated in urgent situations.RequirementsGraduate of Bachelor of Laws/Juris Doctor/Bachelor of Business/BS IT and related disciplinesAt least 2 years of DPO experience is requiredBackground working in an ISO-Certified company is an advantagePreferably with experience in QMSMinimum of 3 years of experience in data privacy, governance, risk, audit or complianceExpert knowledge of data protection laws and practicesKnowledge and skill in applying data privacy or data protection guidelinesAccredited/Certified by the National Privacy Commission as a Data Protection OfficerMust be willing to work in Ortigas and/or Cubao
