.Descripción The Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) is a cutting-edge institute addressing global public health challenges through research, translation into policy and education. ISGlobal has a broad portfolio in communicable and non-communicable diseases including environmental and climate determinants, and applies a multidisciplinary scientific approach ranging from the molecular to the population level. Research is organized in five programs: Climate, Air Pollution, Nature and Urban Health; Environment and Health over the Lifecourse; Global Viral and Bacterial Infections; Malaria and Neglected Parasitic Diseases and Maternal Child and Reproductive Health. Lugar Barcelona, Campus Clinic WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are looking for a full-time data manager to join the Biostatistics and Data Management Unit (UBIOES-GD) and participate from the data management side in the capture and subsequent curation of data of the projects that have been developed at ISGlobal for subsequent publication in the institution's internal repository. The candidate will assist in the data collection phase by drafting Data Management Plans, creating data collection environments (e.G. RedCap) and performing maintenance and data cleaning processes during the project execution. In the closing and consolidation phase of the projects, the candidate will provide support in the curation, preservation and subsequent publication of these in the ISGlobal data repository. The candidate will also participate in a UBIOES-DM project where web scraping techniques will be applied to capture data from research projects. The candidate will at all times work jointly with the UBIOES-GD team of data managers and the ISGlobal researchers involved in the research projects assigned to them. KEY RESPONSABILITIES Curation and documentation of data from completed projects Writing data management plans Maintaining basic data repository tasks Configuring data collection environments Creating and maintaining data cleansing processes Programming scripts for the automation of data capture processes TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE /QUALIFICATIONS Degree in Computer Engineering or Engineering with a high programming component Previous experience in data management and use of data repositories. Experience in the process and management of research data, preferably RedCap Experience with programming languages, preferably R and/or Python. Experience in programming web applications with Shiny Experience working with health-related data. Organizational and work capacity in interdisciplinary groups. Ability to work by objectives, adjusting to established delivery times. Good written and oral communication skills
