We are searching for a Functional Analyst with a technical background in Data, Interoperability, and Standards who combines analytical expertise with technical know-how, ensuring that business processes are supported by compliant and scalable technical solutions. This role is key to ensuring systems and data can seamlessly interact within and across organizations, while adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
Requirements gathering and analysis, particularly in areas related to data exchange, system integration, and standardization.Analyzing how business processes interact with data and identifying areas for improvement and/or optimization.Helping define health data governance policies, ensuring data quality, security, and integrity across different systems.Acting as a liaison between technical teams (developers, system architects) and business stakeholders, translating technical terminology into clear, actionable requirements.Ensuring that technical teams follow best practices in data management and interoperability during system design and implementation.Knowledge required includes:
Knowledge of data management and interoperability frameworks, especially in the health area, including DAMA as a data management framework.Understanding of health data standards and frameworks (i.e., OMOP, SNOMED, among others).Strong skills in business and systems analysis, with the ability to map out workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose solutions that align with business needs.Experience in data modeling and designing systems that prioritize interoperability, including interoperability standards, especially FHIR and ISO IDMP, and semantic interoperability.Understanding of data models, databases, and data management technologies (SQL, NoSQL, data warehouses).Knowledge of API integration, interoperability standards, and data exchange protocols (e.g., JSON, XML).Because #Greattech needs #GreatPeople, like you.
