The Data Governance Expert will play a crucial role in contributing to our client's data governance and data architecture stream. They will ensure that the data architecture and data stack are aligned with client's overall goals and objectives. The Data Architect will also have oversight of data management to ensure that data is stored, organized, integrated, and accessed as defined in policies and procedures.

Main responsibilitiesAct as SME and review conceptual, logical, and/or physical data models and metadata for new and existing ICT solutionsEnsure diagrams representing the data landscape, data flows and data lifecycle are created and maintained by the project teamsEnsure data from various sources can be integrated, combined, and used cohesively across solutionsContribute to data governance policies and procedures (eg: data quality, retention, metadata, etc.), and maintain documentations related to data governanceImplement measures to identify how data is used, monitor compliance with policies and procedures, and safeguard the access and sharing of sensitive dataActive and close collaboration with business stakeholders to identify requirements related to governance and ensure that the processes align with the data needs of the businessProduct owner of the data catalog and data governance-related solutions, ensure together with the stakeholders its usage, completeness and accuracyWork with Enterprise architect to maintain enterprise data (data object, interfaces, processes) in the EA toolWork with Solution architect to ensure that data solutions are adopted and implemented according to UEFA's best practicesWork with Data analytics expert in assisting in the design of robust solutions for data analytics and data scienceKeep up to date with latest data technology and trends, ensure with the relevant subject matter expert that the UEFA's data stack remains relevant and cost-efficientCoordinate and participate in cross-divisional data governance and architecture meetingsFocus• Data architecture
