with the end-to-end responsibility to retrieve, store, and model data, develop and maintain data pipelines, and develop solutions to support the use cases.
Roles and responsibilities: Designs and builds conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts which conform to existing standards and conventions.
Analyzes structural requirements and builds data pipelines and models for new software and data analytics applications.
The Data Engineer operates data cleaning as a preliminary stage of analytics.
Maps data sources, documents data architecture, data interfaces, and data movement to have an accurate view of the larger data picture.
Contributes to end-to-end data lifecycle management activities, including monitoring of pipelines and data quality.
Evaluation and recommendation of new data management and storage technologies/standards.
Looks for patterns coming out from the data.
Data Storytelling.
Data understanding / Data preparation / Data analysis.
Qualifications +3 years of experience in Data Engineer activities: Experience in Cloud Platforms, for example, Microsoft Azure and Databricks.
Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines and machine learning models that are scalable, reliable, and ready for production using Python.
Great knowledge of the ML-Workflow like preparing and cleaning data, implementing productive ML-Models, measurement, and monitoring of results.
Design and build robust, scalable data pipelines to collect, process, and analyze large volumes of data in PySpark.
Knowledge of modern development tools like Git, Jira, DevOps.
Familiar with coding best practices like CI/CD, unit testing, logging, and monitoring.
Business skills: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Results-oriented, self-directed ability to drive change in an unstructured environment.
Time management skills.
International experience and multicultural skills are highly valued.
