Data Engineer

Job Title: Data Engineer (GCP) Location: Madrid, Spain (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage data pipelines on GCP using Apache Nifi, Dataproc, BigQuery, Dataflow, and other GCP tools. Develop Spark and Hadoop workflows to process large datasets in Dataproc for efficient and reliable data handling. Integrate Dataproc workflows with other GCP data services like Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub. Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues, optimizing pipeline performance in Dataproc clusters. Utilize advanced SQL, Python, Spark, and Scala for data processing. Document data pipelines, ETL processes, and overall data architecture. Experience with DataHub is a plus. Qualifications: 4+ years in data engineering, with experience in GCP. Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, Spark, and/or Scala. Fluency in Spanish and English (professional level). Experience with DataHub is a bonus. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
