THE ROLEThe Data Engineer | Data Analyst will be responsible for developing and managing data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouses on the Google Cloud platform.
YOUR CHALLENGEDesign and develop data pipelines on the Google Cloud platform.Develop ETL processes to transform raw data into meaningful insights.Create and maintain data warehouses on the Google Cloud platform.Utilize GCP tools (Cloud Data Fusion, Cloud Composer, Dataflow, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Monitoring, and Pub/Sub).Implement and manage DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation.Ensure and maintain data governance practices.Create and maintain dashboards in Looker.Act as the primary point of contact for all data inquiries.Support IT and digital projects to ensure they follow the framework and governance standards.Automate data collection and processing solutions using Python and SQL.Analyze data to identify trends and anomalies.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.Collaborate with other teams to meet data requirements.Support AI/ML engineering and integrate data for model development.YOU WILL ROCK AT THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVEBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.At least five years of experience developing data pipelines on platforms such as Google Cloud.Proficient in Python, SQL, and automation techniques.Knowledge of GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.Experience with workflow management engines (e.g., Airflow, Google Cloud Composer).Familiarity with DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation.Understanding of data governance principles.Experience in creating and maintaining dashboards in Looker.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Experience in BI tooling such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.Google Cloud Certifications (e.g., GCP Data Engineer) are a plus.Experience working with large datasets and distributed systems.Knowledge or exposure to supporting AI/ML engineering.
