Data Enablement Specialist Data Integration As a Global Data Enablement Services Specialist, you will be responsible for managing data integration from various sources to clean layers. The role will be key on delivering excellence within the HPS organization, moving towards Boehringer Ingelheim's data strategy.Tasks and responsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to integrate data from diverse sources into clean, structured layers.Develop and maintain integrations using APIs and FT integrations, enabling seamless data flow between systems.Perform data cleansing, transformation, and enrichment, enabling data consumers with curated data.Work closely with data analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.Monitor data pipelines for performance, cost and reliability, optimizing them for efficiency and scalability.Provide clear communication to data consumers about pipeline executions and remediation plans if any incident.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data integration processes and workflows.RequirementsBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.5 years progressive work experience in data management and/or data modelling.Strong experience with APIs or FT integrations, and data integration tools.Proficiency in programming languages such as PySpark, and relevant data integration tools.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Highly skilled in SQL, cloud platforms such as Snowflake or AWS, and data transformation techniques like parquet.2 years minimum of experience implementing projects with AWS services like Glue, Lambda, Airflow, Cloud9, Step functions.Proven experience around pharma datasets and applications like Veeva CRM, Adobe Campaign, Google suite, Veeva Vault, MDG.Good judgment in evaluating benefits and risks for data pipelines, providing best in class solutions.Fluent in oral and written English.Strong collaboration, communication, and mediation skills.Strong results orientation.
