Meta designs, builds, leases and operates the most innovative and efficient data centres in the world. Locating, developing and managing this data centre infrastructure the "right" way is synonymous with ensuring high uptime, capacity availability, flexibility and capital and operational cost efficiency. We are seeking an experienced and organised program manager to join the Data Centre Portfolio Management team, and help manage its rapidly scaling owned data centre property portfolio. As Site Development Portfolio Manager you will think both strategically and analytically, assessing projects and issues from a global view, developing out-of-the-box solutions, and navigating the challenges that accompany large scale projects.You will also be responsible for managing projects and communicating effectively to form partnerships and influence stakeholders.Data Centre Site Development Portfolio Manager (EMEA) ResponsibilitiesSupport a portfolio of existing sites under construction or in operations to facilitate on time and quality delivery and development of the site that meets permit and agreement requirements and local expectations.Track and monitor ongoing site development including agreement management (e.G., agreement compliance, offsite infrastructure tracking).Assess site risks and opportunities by compiling and/or analysing site information, including permitting and land use requirements and legal, physical risk and financial implications.Assist in creating scalable processes for tracking progress and risks at sites.Lead updates to entitlements process (e.G., zoning, land use permitting, agreement modifications) to support continued development of data centre sites.Lead real estate transactions to support continued site development.Work with key project team members to ensure alignment among all internal stakeholders and to find creative ways to overcome obstacles in the site development process.Support the preparation of project recommendations for presentation to senior management for approval.Develop scalable, efficient tools and processes to improve delivery and communication for data centre site development.Maintain and own company's strong relationships with key external stakeholders such as planning and permitting experts supporting the project, the community, and authorities having jurisdiction.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Planning, Real Estate, Engineering, or Science.12+ years of site development, commercial real estate and project management or project management experience.Experience in managing multiple projects and coordinating with internal staff and external consultants, vendors and other stakeholders.Experience with real estate transactions and negotiating commercial agreements.Willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed (25-50%).Preferred QualificationsAdvanced technical degree, law degree or MBA.Experience in large and complex infrastructure projects.#J-18808-Ljbffr
