Data Center Technician, Data Center OperationsAmazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. As part of this team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous operation of AWS data centers and the equipment that supports them. We are seeking talented individuals to join us in solving complex problems and maintaining the highest standards of safety and security while optimizing costs for our customers.
Key job responsibilities: Interact with stakeholders in Spain and across EMEA, requiring proficiency in both Spanish and English.Meet SLAs by addressing assigned trouble tickets through a directed workflow.Provide first-line hardware troubleshooting and technical support.Perform regular server hardware repairs including drives and motherboards.Conduct routine network, server hardware, and OS-related repairs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete routine tasks.Engage with Smart Hands in EU Regional POPs.Adhere to security and safety best practices in the data center.Participate in Data Center power & cooling events.Attend team meetings for metric analysis and goal achievement.Identify and help create global documentation.Identify and contribute to process improvements in the data center environment.Perform server upgrades, rebuilds, and scheduled maintenance as needed.Interact with third-party vendors and contractors.Contribute to the development of team members.About the team:
