The DC Lead and Chief Employability has end-to-end accountability for the Cloud Region and Employability strategies in the local market including planning, execution, and governance. This includes revenue, scorecard, and share dashboard accountabilities and goals, as well as playing a leadership role within the subsidiary including participating in Extended Leadership meetings, planning, and governance processes and providing data and insights that support and drive effective business prioritization and decision-making that achieves the local Cloud Region and Digital Skilling business goals.
This role is responsible for close cross-group collaboration across groups to ensure local execution of strategies and tactics to further drive the business. The role identifies, engages, and builds networks with relevant public and private organizations to drive national or business transformations. The role is tasked to establish and expand Microsoft's thought leadership in these domains and leads the public conversation on the use of technologies to increase employability and public cloud adoption.
Responsibilities:Strategic leader for New Cloud Region and Digital Skilling in the Spanish market.Build a local multi-year business plan to deliver on the Spanish Cloud Region and Digital Skilling opportunities, exceeding targets within the fiscal period and setting up the business for future success, sustainably and optimally.End-to-end accountability for the Spanish Cloud Region and Digital Skilling growth including strategy, planning, execution, advocacy governance, and learning.Own, build and land a local go-to-market plan based on corporate priorities with a strong understanding of the local market structure, competitive dynamics, and macro technical and economic market drivers. Works closely across all subsidiary functions (marketing, sales, partner, customer success, consulting, and audience engagement) to ensure that there is a shared and aligned country-wide Cloud Region & Employability go-to-market plan.Build alliances with external public organisms and private organizations to execute digital skilling activities using Microsoft technologies.Attract public and private investments to execute initiatives that use Microsoft technology to increase employability.Define career and readiness paths for most demanded profiles using Microsoft available resources. Promote those paths in public and private education centers as well as regional employment agencies.Define and create consistent metrics to track digital skilling and employment impact.Promote strategic agreements with customers and partners to build a wide set of anchor organizations for the Spanish Cloud Region.Orchestrate the execution of the Cloud Region & Employability go-to-market plan across the subsidiary to exceed revenue and skilling targets.Be responsible for engaging with all leadership stakeholders for the Cloud Region & Employability and to partner closely for mutual success through both formal and informal business processes. Holds both local and corporate stakeholders to account in a collaborative, positive, and impactful fashion.Be the ambassador for the Cloud Region & Employability in the market - internally, with partners, and across the market ecosystem - positioning Microsoft, driving awareness, and generating excitement in the market - in 1:1, 1:Few, and 1:Many forums, in person and digital, covering both business and technology messages.Coordinate the execution of cross-skilling initiatives with Microsoft's learning partners ecosystem.Experience in public grants management (EU, local and regional level).Qualifications:Benefits/perks listed below may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Microsoft and the country where you work.
Key Experiences, Skills, and Knowledge:8-10 years of technology services experience, preferably in cloud services.5+ years of people management experience with customer/partner facing technology services.Broad strategic management vision.Deep customer/partner focus and understanding.Strong understanding of cloud technology and digital transformation, with experience in enablement programs and the partner ecosystem.A deep understanding of the impact of technology and how it drives the current worldwide digital transformation in businesses and society.Experience in complex and large-scale deployment technology projects.Strong data analysis capability.
