The successful candidate shall follow Amazon Data Center processes and maintain high operational standards in supporting server and network hardware and software.
They need to adapt to fast and constantly changing environment and will require shift work including weekend and holiday.
Key Job Responsibilities 7x24 roster duty in data center operations Incident first responder and onsite hands on support Break-fix and troubleshooting according to process guideline Maintain proper media operations according to process guideline Capacity landing and decommissioning according to process guideline Site management and maintain tidiness in operation areas Innovate and contribute from day to day operation experiences to improve operation efficiency BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 1+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience- Knowledge of IT system hardware and network concepts- Degree / High Diploma or equivalent qualifications in Information Technology / Computer Science / Engineering or related disciplines- Understanding on incidents response and prioritization- Good attention to details- Good written and verbal communication in English- Experience in network cabling including optical PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 1+ years of data center experience- Knowledge of cloud computing technologies- Knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies- Knowledge on continuous process improvement- Literacy in security and customer data protection Amazon is an Equal Opportunity Employer – Minority / Women / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation / Age.
