Data Center Critical Facilities Engineer IV Job Summary
Performs repairs, corrective maintenance, and routine installations. Able to resolve incidents as required.
Responsibilities Facility/Infrastructure Maintenance Performs site inspections and monitors the building and Data Center alarms Performs preventative maintenance on site infrastructure (e.g. maintenance of primary infrastructures), or manages vendors Undertakes repairs and corrective maintenance Operates critical infrastructure under the supervision of more senior technical staff Site Administration Completion of site logs and data gathering issuing for basic permits, such as MOPs and scripts Incident Management Responds to all on-site incidents and acts as required Work Orders Completes routine work requests and circuit installations Collaboration Provides assistance during critical maintenance activities Effectively collaborates within the department and provides input to peers for general maintenance activities Additional Projects Carries out basic infrastructure projects Qualifications Typically requires a high school diploma and proven years of equivalent work experience Equinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
