.Opportunity Edged Spain-Portugal has an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about sustainability and eager to be part of an innovative company that's on a journey to transform the world's data center infrastructure.We are seeking a Data Center Critical Environment Manager to join our Spain-Portugal team, working directly with our Data Center Site Managers.This role will be responsible for the development, roll-out and continuous improvement of customers projects, services, and reports.Edged is highly selective about the people we bring on board because our mission depends on it.Progress happens quickly and we must be able to trust one another to be transparent, communicative, strategic, reliable, and driven.We seek ultra-creatives and superstar performers with a sense of humility and a hunger to make a positive impact in the world.We offer flexibility and endless growth opportunities to those who can harness their skills and talents and identify how and where to use them to add value.Key Responsibilities Include but are not limited to: Establishing strong working relationships with customers Overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in a datacenter Managing and organizing the planned preventative and corrective electrical and/or mechanical equipment according to customer requirements Ensuring that electrical, mechanical, and/or fire/life safety equipment within the client data hall are operating at peak efficiency Ensuring compliance with infrastructure operations standardization Acting as an escalation point for all facilities-related issues within the datacenter, escalating to the Operations Team as needed.This may include assisting technicians in times of emergencies, job training, and providing input/recommendations on electrical/mechanical design parameters Management of small-to-medium projects from conception to completion Ensuring routine reporting for critical infrastructure, inclusive of operational and maintenance KPIs, objectives, organizational policies, procedures, and standards Driving cost/energy efficiency projects Identifying single points-of-failure at client infrastructure Coordinating, planning, scheduling, and supervising audits and compliance verifications Driving identification and remediation of vulnerabilities (such as single points of failure) Provide recommendations on new data center equipment designs, technologies, and construction methods
