.Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO&I) is the team behind the cloud.
Within CO&I, the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) team is responsible for delivering core datacenter infrastructure for Microsoft's cloud business.
The MS portfolio consists of complex, multi-disciplinary, large scale, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects.
We are looking for a passionate, high-energy individual to help build the cloud datacenters that power the world's largest online services.Key Leadership Expectations Of The Site Director Include:Culture: Promote a positive and thriving culture enabling all personnel to work as one team.
Hold staff meetings, listening sessions, and other cultural conversations to drive operational excellence.Talent Management: Responsible for talent management of his/her direct report including connect, reward, and career development.
Manage performance and developmental feedback in close collaboration with regional and subregional functional leads.Safety: Provide visible leadership at site and ensure health, safety, and wellbeing of Microsoft personnel.Quality: Promote quality standards at site with design, material, and field execution.Schedule: Oversee and manage the execution of work as per the approved project schedule.Cost: Work closely with all functional teams to fully understand status of project progress and scope development.The role of Site Director is primarily a construction site based role.
