Our team has an opportunity for a Data Annotation Specialist to work on projects in the Research and Development Organization in the Health and Life Sciences Platform Team. The annotation specialist will be transcribing, translating, and editing medical records and reports in various European languages, such as German, French, and Dutch. The annotation specialist needs to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in their target language or multiple languages (polyglot), as well as a solid understanding of medical terminology, healthcare documentation, and country-specific standards and regulations.
The annotation specialist also needs to coordinate with different stakeholders from Data, Research, and Supplier teams to provide feedback, update guidelines, and monitor quality and progress of tasks. The role requires the ability to communicate fluently and accurately in both spoken and written forms, and to handle complex and specialized vocabulary, grammar, and syntax. They also need to have a good command of English, as they will have to work with source documents and instructions in English and communicate with their supervisors, colleagues, and stakeholders in English.
