People Analytics and Measurement is a team composed of over seventy data and analytics professionals who serve internal firm customers.
The Business Intelligence group is responsible for all reporting, performance metrics, and descriptive analytics enabling the firm to understand and optimize our people operations, and measure the impact of our strategic initiatives.
The team works in a highly collaborative environment. The focus on this new role is with the firm's Lifecyle Engagement Function (Talent Attraction, Firm Engagement, and Alumni Relations), principally with the Alumni Relations function.
Hiring locations include Madrid, Brussels, London, Lisbon, Warsaw.
As a People Analytics and Measurement Data Analytics Specialist, you will work directly with the Alumni Relations Team to support its strategy and mission, and drive its analytical agenda to deliver meaningful innovation and impact in analytics.
You will proactively leverage existing data and help develop the foundation for the future data infrastructure by identifying new data sources that will provide insights on the firm's program and services, which supports 55,000 alumni worldwide.
You will develop digital products that support ROI and KPI measurement, develop fluency in extracting, cleaning, and analyzing demographic, engagement, and psychographic alumni data from multiple sources to provide insights, models, and real-time visualizations that measure ROI and KPIs related to program effectiveness.
You will also create algorithms to support alumni engagement measures and indicators that reflect individual alums' relationships with our firm more broadly, and predictive analytics to aid in strategic decision-making.
You will communicate the results of the analyses, helping the team understand the findings and identifying new opportunities to leverage and enhance analytic capabilities.

Bachelor's or master's degree in data analytics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, social science research, operations research, econometrics, or similar field 4+ years of professional experience in applied analytics or research Success as an individual contributor within a broader team Solid analytical and data management skills Ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple projects, and to work effectively under pressure and with shifting priorities Flexibility in working style, willingness to collaborate with a team virtually, and ability to work independently based on project and other circumstances Ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative findings into actionable insights and communicate them effectively Understanding of digital product lifecycle Technical and analytical experience, including analytical tools and software such as R (preferred), Python, Tableau, Alteryx, Knime, or other programming experience Proficiency in SQL, including experience retrieving data from relational databases Exploratory data analysis, including web analytics platforms, to understand the characteristics of a data set and identify patterns Intuitive understanding of what the analysis implies and how it would be affected by changes in assumptions Comfort in dealing with ambiguity, making assumptions, and drawing conclusions Work experience with real-world data, including extracting it from production databases like Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, AWS, and cleaning it to create analytically tractable data sets Familiarity with software development methodologies like Agile, including issue / workflow tracking tools like Jira and Trello, and version control tools like git and GitHub Experience with visualizing data using ggplot2, matplotlib, d3.js, Tableau, or similar software
