YOUR MISSIONJoin our team to craft robust and scalable data products that drive our business forward.
Leverage our Data Mesh strategy to deliver actionable insights, optimize operations, and foster a culture of data-driven innovation across teams.
THE JOURNEYResponsibilitiesDevelop data pipelines and optimize data pipelines: data ingestion from transactional sources and APIs, data transformation with dbt, and workflow orchestration with Airflow.Model and structure data: Build maintainable data models, including fact tables and slowly changing dimensions, to support analytics and reporting needs.Partner with business teams to understand their needs, deliver actionable data solutions, and support self-service analytics.Design user-friendly dashboards and LookML models to enable stakeholders to explore and analyze data effectively.Stay up to date with the latest data technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices.
Experiment with new tools.Continuously work on improving our data quality.WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDERequirements:Eagerness to work closely with business stakeholders.Ability to communicate complex data topics to non-technical stakeholders.Strong analytical skills.Proficiency with SQL and Python.Experience building ETL workloads.Knowledge of data modeling and schema design.Experience with cloud technologies (GCP, AWS).Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).Nice to have:Experience with test automation (data testing, unit and system integration testing).Experience building data products in a Data Mesh architecture.Experience in big data technologies (e.g., Spark), SQL optimisation and performance tuning.Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).Individuals representing diverse profiles, encompassing various genders, ethnicities, and backgrounds, are less likely to apply for this role if they do not possess solid experience in 100% of these areas.
