As D&A Director, you will be responsible for the design, management, and delivery of analytical insights and solutions through data analysis, data management, and data science. Primary activities include delivering technical and business strategic expertise, ensuring proper governance of data sources, models, attributes, and analytic platforms, being accountable for the data and insight strategy and its execution for the company, and providing thought leadership both internally and externally regarding the use and application of data and analytics for competitive advantage.
What you'll do: Define the strategy of the D&A team, supervising the key department functions such as: Consultancy services for analytical products End-to-end life of analytical products Life cycle of Equifax data Data acquisition, data quality, and data governance Develop and maintain understanding of the data needs inherent in the business strategies of a business unit: what data we have, what data we need, how we need to manage our data to maximize its value and reliability over time, and how we can (and cannot) use it to generate value and competitive advantage. Manage a team of Managers and Analytical Consultants responsible for leading and serving as single points of contact for certain identified EFX Domain solutions during the pre-Sales/Sales process steps. Provide guidance and coaching to leaders, ensuring the team can effectively present/validate use cases, demos, and customer scenarios for which covered domain solutions are uniquely suited. Drive the development of complex win-win proposals, providing strategic input as needed throughout the process, including during negotiations. Mentor team resources to ensure their ability to grow and demonstrate a deep understanding of solution capabilities, issues the solutions will address, market expertise, and industry trends to drive profitable, long-term revenue growth and deliver exceptional customer value. Stay abreast of competitor activity to drive the team's understanding and ability to position EFX as a strategic and advantageous partner and competitive market leader. Build talent bench strength by identifying, mentoring, coaching, and developing top talent internally, and continually networking externally for potential future talent needs. What experience you need: 10-15+ years of related analytical or consulting experience, with broad experience demonstrating leadership capabilities. BS degree in a STEM major or equivalent discipline; Master's Degree strongly preferred. Knowledge of Cloud-based environments. Knowledge of the Spanish market with preferred experience in the financial sector. Knowledge of the latest European regulations in the financial sector. Experience in interactions and collaborations with different teams and departments, especially technology, product, and sales.
