Position Overview: We are looking for a Data Analyst & Visualization Expert to join our marketing team. In this role, you will leverage the Stream Hatchet API and data backend to analyze trends in the live-streaming industry. Your insights will help shape stories, articles, and marketing materials that engage our community and the broader market. You will also be responsible for creating visually compelling and easy-to-read data visualizations for use in social media, blog posts, marketing reports, and other external-facing content. Your role is key in transforming complex data into accessible and engaging visuals that help amplify Stream Hatchet's thought leadership in the live-streaming and gaming space.
Key Responsibilities: Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret live-streaming data from the Stream Hatchet API to uncover trends and insights that support the marketing team's storytelling and content efforts. Generate actionable insights and performance reports that highlight key metrics in live-streaming, influencer campaigns, and esports.Visualization & Reporting: Design clean and visually engaging data visualizations for public-facing materials including social media graphics, blog articles, reports, and case studies. Create custom charts, infographics, and dashboards that convey complex data in an accessible format. Ensure visual designs are aligned with Stream Hatchet's brand guidelines and effectively communicate our data-driven insights.Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, content, and product teams to integrate data insights into content strategies. Collaborate with the sales team on data presentations and contribute to marketing-driven data reports that support client acquisition and retention.Technology Utilization: Leverage tools such as SQL for querying data, as well as other data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, D3.js) to build compelling visual outputs. Utilize design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar tools) to create high-quality, professional graphics for marketing content.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Marketing, Business Analytics, or a related field.Proven experience (2+ years) in data analysis and visualization, preferably within the gaming or live-streaming industries.Strong knowledge of SQL and proficiency in querying large datasets.
