You will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing data related to patients and biological samples. This data will be instrumental in advancing our understanding of the disease and developing new treatment strategies.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Bioinformatics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Strong experience with data analysis tools and methodologies, including Power BI, RStudio, and SAS.Experience in creating data models and handling databases.Experience with data cleaning, validation, and management best practices.Knowledge in advanced R and Python languages.Proven ability to generate clear and informative data visualizations.Languages: Spanish, English, and Catalan (a plus).Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:Clean, validate, and manage large datasets using Power BI and potentially other relevant data analysis tools.Generate data visualizations and reports that effectively communicate research findings to scientists and stakeholders.Collaborate with researchers to ensure data integrity and meet project timelines.Maintain data security and compliance with relevant regulations.May participate in writing activities and contribute to research publications.WHAT WE OFFER:Full-time contract (law of science).Date of incorporation: September 2024.Gross annual remuneration based on the experience and skills of the candidate, distributed in 12 payments.Possibility of working from home two days per week.Flexible payment (childminding vouchers).23 days holiday and 5 days for personal matters.Training capsules by the company.Be part of an excellent multidisciplinary research centre with the HRS4R badge.Location on the Can Ruti Campus, a first-class translational research environment in the Barcelona area, in a very stimulating scientific environment.The IGTP offers a supportive, friendly and collaborative ecosystem to promote professional development and help you achieve your research goals.HOW TO APPLY:Interested persons should send a cover letter explaining their interest in the position, their CV, and contact details of 2-3 references by email to seleccio(ELIMINAR)@igtp.cat.
