Job Title Data Acquisition Analyst - HospitalitySummary of the roleThe Data Acquisition Analyst will be instrumental in on-boarding global hospitality industry data to support our Business Intelligence Solutions. This role will perform a diverse set of critical duties related to the implementation and maintenance of processes to acquire and retain quality data assets. This role will work with the top global hospitality organizations and independent hotels to deliver data that meet extract specifications and pass data validation standards.
Your main responsibilitiesFacilitate communication between the business and technical teams throughout the data acquisition process.
Analyze and document business requirements to support the data acquisition process.
Identify areas for data quality improvement and resolve data quality problems through error detection, correction, process improvement, and process design strategies.
Utilize data profiling tools and database queries to uncover and determine root causes of data quality issues.
Recommend enhancements to data acquisition processes and systems of record to improve data accuracy.
Conduct ongoing data analysis and auditing to support timely and accurate delivery to clients.
About the ideal candidateRelevant experience in the hospitality industry and familiarity with hospitality standards and terminology.
Experience with the SQL query language is beneficial.
Familiarity with Business Intelligence and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows is beneficial.
Proven ability to efficiently manage and implement tactical projects.
Understanding of database and data warehouse architecture is beneficial.
Self-starter who works well in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
