Our client, an innovator in advanced optical networking solutions, is looking for a seasoned Project Manager to lead the development of their next-generation optical multi-gigabit automotive transceivers.
Based in Spain, you'll play a critical role in driving projects to success, collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams, and ensuring seamless execution aligned with public grant commitments.
Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish comprehensive project plans to support scope, goals, and deliverables while maintaining critical project documentation, including spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps.Oversee project budgets, schedule timelines, and track deliverables to ensure timely, within-budget results.Liaise closely with R&D team leaders, project teams, and external assembly fabs to support prototype, qualification, and production phases.Present regular project status reports and monitor progress, ensuring alignment with project goals.Coordinate with universities, research centres, and partner companies for collaboration agreements.Manage audits and compliance with external entities, supporting IP documentation and patent-related communications.Engage with industry conferences and publications to drive R&D dissemination, positioning the company as a leader in optical network solutions.Qualifications & SkillsMust have experience with Electronic, Optical or Semiconductor Engineering.Minimum of 15 years in SW/HW development project management with a strong grasp of complex project requirements.Exceptional English skills for effective communication and documentation.Familiarity with version control and issue-tracking software is a plus.This is a unique opportunity to be part of a leading-edge automotive technology team.
