Siemens is looking for a regional commodity manager in Horizontal IT who will be responsible for strategic IT Procurement activities, mainly in region WE&A (Western Europe and Africa) striving for optimum conditions on an excellent supplier base through pooling volumes and common strategies.

Change tomorrow's world with us: Based on the IT strategy and the requirements, you derive the best possible sourcing strategy for the respective technologies and/or areas.Work closely with the respective region/country procurements to translate the global strategy into local requirements.Work on Horizontal IT Procurement demands in WE&A to pool volumes across countries.Adopt innovative procurement approaches.Develop a cooperation model with Central IT, businesses, and country stakeholders that fits with the overall strategy of IT at Siemens.In the area of stakeholder/customer management, assume the role of a demand manager as well as a sales employee or ambassador.Bring supplier innovation to Siemens internal stakeholders.Help create a new collaboration model within IT Procurement WE&A.Help tailor a sustainability policy for IT Procurement in WE&A.Who are we looking for? You have successfully completed your degree in industrial engineering, business informatics, business administration, or a comparable degree.Professional experience in IT procurement/procurement-related function.In-depth knowledge of the IT Provider market in the IT Commodities.Deep experience in Procurement processes.Fast adaptation to Siemens internal Procurement processes and tools.This role will be interacting with peers globally and thus involves experience of working with different cultures and working in multi-cultural teams.Highly efficient in English written and oral communication.
Other languages are also welcome.Advanced skills using Microsoft Office 365 (especially PowerAutomate, PowerApps, PowerBI).10%-15% travel required.
