DIGITAL PROJECT MANAGER - HYPE General Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization: The Digital Growth Hype team is a unit dedicated to planning and executing the Hype range for the brand across its different digital touchpoints targeting the sneaker and streetwear consumer.
As a Project Manager in Digital Hype Planning, you will directly contribute to growing the adidas Digital business successfully by overseeing the operational calendar and ensuring clarity on what we will execute when and how.
This happens in collaboration with Global BU's, Digital Activation and Markets.
Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Ensure full understanding of project scope to be able to design detailed project plans.
Manage the execution and completion of the defined (hype launch) project plan through effectively coordinating people and resources.
Drive clear communication on deliverables, timelines, and process.
Consult on GTM planning based on capabilities and capacity of the team/resources.
Dependency Management: Ongoing evaluation of team's dependencies and risks in delivery of launch projects and to help meet team's OKRs.
Financials and Controlling: Manage project budget through tracking and reporting the monthly budget accruals and variances and ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
Communication: As conflicts and escalations arise within projects, identify solutions, and propose these to project sponsor and support their resolution in a timely and appropriate manner.
Use appropriate and effective communication methods to Senior Management and project stakeholders throughout the project life cycle, in order to successfully deliver and embed the project within the organization.
People Management: Allocate the different work to the respective employees considering experience, complexity, workload, and organizational efficiency.
Continuously monitor and evaluate team workload and organizational efficiency within team and work with respective managers to facilitate and develop internal relationships within the Extended Hype team.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: You are practical and value on-time, quality delivery over process.
Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely.
Working knowledge of industry standard tools: MS office software, JIRA / Confluence, Smartsheet.
Demonstrated understanding & experience of running digital and/or retail projects from briefing to delivery.
Experienced in an IT / technology driven environment.
Strong experience to work on several projects simultaneously.
Strong communication (both written and verbal) and facilitation skills (small and large groups) especially when interacting with different levels of business.
Agile mindset which allows you to thrive in a VUCA environment.
Ability to travel, domestic or international, as required and work outside office hours on events (evenings/weekends) up to 5 times per year.
Fluent English (verbal and written).
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: University Degree, with a focus on Computer Science, Business Administration or related topics.
4+ years experience of project management preferably within a tech, digital marketing or ecommerce.
Market level experience or strong experience of working with markets valued.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Understanding of the industry, consumer and competitor trends valued.
