Sales Support Engineer

We are now looking for a Sales Support Engineer to join our Global UWS Sales team. The position is permanent and the preferred location is in Alboraya, Spain.
What will you be doing: In this position, your work will include:
Generate customer-specific solutions, specifications, and quotations according to the needs of the Sales, for the Wartsila Underwater Services portfolio.
Bid management.
Evaluate inquiries and register/maintain opportunity information in CRM.
Configure solutions according to defined needs.
Preparing cost calculations according to directives and agreed targets.
Evaluate the technical and environmental risks of the solution.
Ensure that response time for sales inquiries/requests/orders are met.
Understand the customer needs and contribute in supporting them to meet their objectives.
Minimum Requirements: For us to be the best match, we expect you to have:
Sales skills or Technical insight and experience from working in the maritime industry.
Knowledge in CRM Sales Force tools and technical background, preferably related to the shipping industry.
A safety-first mindset.
Technical education or equivalent qualifications as a combination of education and experience.
Experience in a customer-facing role with responsibility for collating costs and invoices.
Excellent organisational skills and customer empathy.
Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Demonstrable teamwork skills and the ability to adjust and re-plan in dynamic situations.
A working knowledge of commercial administration processes.
Experience in the Maritime Industry.
Ability to work in multicultural/international business environments.
Self-driven and motivated with a continuous learning ability.
Openness & willingness to adapt to change.
Proficient negotiation skills.
Familiar with using Microsoft WORD/ EXCEL/ PPT/ CRM.
Fluent in Spanish & English is mandatory.
Living or willing to relocate within driving distance of our office in Valencia, Spain.
Have a valid European work permit permitting you to work in Spain.
