The PositionAs a Supplier Contract Coordinator, you will be end-to-end accountable for the overall usage of the EOC contracts for support, projects, and vendor management.
This includes responsibility for compliance, performance, stability, and cost efficiency of IT processes and services provided by Supplier Management through vendor engagements.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesManage vendor contracts in multiple countries, time zones, and suppliers, for Support and Projects across IT Functions to increase synergies and cost savings.Functional requirements analysis for services to be purchased in alignment with all functional stakeholders.Evaluation of vendor offers from a functional point of view according to identified qualitative criteria.Monitoring and ongoing quality control of vendors to ensure contract fulfilment alongside Sourcing, within the scope of EOC.Responsible for proper communication with IT functions to meet IT needs and goals.Contribute to ensure compliance of IT processes and services with laws, regulations, and SOPs with consideration for global requirements and its impact in the regions.Collaboration with Sourcing and on-time planning of needed RFPs.Liaise with the vendor, functional and technical IT teams, and other stakeholders to provide proactive and business-appropriate communication.
Handling of all escalations by the System Leads, Functional Managers, and other stakeholders.RequirementsBachelor´s degree in Information Technology, Business, or comparable with several years of relevant working experience.At least 3 years of working experience in IT and/or Sourcing related activities and strong experience in contract creation, contract management, vendor management (SOWs etc.
).Understanding of sourcing finance/cost accounting, and sourcing related legal & compliance requirements.Work experience in virtual and global organizations.Experience in IT service management/ Technical business management, system lifecycle management, risk analysis and management, project planning and management is a plus.Offshore outsourcing experience is a plus.Excellent communication and presentation skills in English required (verbal and written).Negotiation and influencing skills, team player, ability to successfully work in ambiguity, resolution skills, conflict management, vendor management, strong IT customer focus, and consulting capabilities.IamBoehringerIngelheim because With us, you can grow, collaborate, innovate, and improve lives.
