The Barcelona Institute for Global Health, ISGlobal, is the fruit of an innovative alliance between academic, government, and philanthropic institutions to contribute to the efforts undertaken by the international community to address the challenges in global health. ISGlobal is looking for a field technician to work in the project SUSTAIN-MOBILISE-D, a 2-year private-public consortium aiming to measure and validate digital mobility outcomes in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and hip fracture.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR ISGlobal is looking for a predoctoral researcher to work in the project SUSTAIN-MOBILISE-D.MAIN DUTIES Prepare protocols for data collection of mobility and clinical outcomes.Collect mobility and clinical data from patients with COPD from 5 municipalities in the Barcelona area.Collect medical records data from primary care and hospitals in the Barcelona area.Contact with Ethics Committees of 4 hospitals in the Barcelona area.TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE Experience in data collection with COPD patients.Experience in collection of mobility data.Experience in quality control of data collection.SKILLS Capable of working autonomously.Good verbal and written communication skills.LANGUAGES Catalan and Spanish – to be able to communicate with patients.
