To meet this demand, we are looking for passionate technologists to join our Solutions Assurance Team based in Barcelona, as a part of our growing (IST), a remote/flexible, globally-dispersed team.
Our objective is to align MongoDB as an optimized platform for AI solutions, and ensure we understand enterprise clients and their needs to drive modernization through artificial intelligence.
ResponsibilitiesUnderstand customer security requirements, documenting and communicating best practices while working with our business partners on validating the integration of their software components with the MongoDB ecosystem.Become an expert in all things security related for MongoDB Atlas and MongoDB Enterprise Advanced.Design and implement robust Atlas architectures in compliance with relevant standards such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and NIST 800-53.Internally and externally document the results of the testing and collaborate with the team to develop best practices for security architectures and integrations.Assist in the risk assessments of our enterprise customers for Atlas.Partner with the Industry Solutions team to ensure success in accounts ranging from small startups to large enterprises.Communicate and assist about specific integrations with field and other parts of the organization.Proactively seek opportunities to support and mentor other team members and share best practices.Ideal CandidateAt least 5 years of relevant work experience in the tech sector or relevant technical experience in other sectors.Ability and willingness to learn quickly and adapt to new industries.Scripting skills and programming skills with a solid understanding of operation layer architectures.Experience in product security, AI security, machine learning security, or IT security.Strong understanding of data technologies and their potential vulnerabilities.Familiarity with security standards and regulations relevant to AI and data privacy.A balance of technical knowledge as well as communication/presentation skills.A foundational knowledge of data, data science, data analytics, and/or data engineering.A diverse experience or interest to context switch between different environments and requirements.The ability to manage and work with multiple stakeholders effectively.A pro-active, self-starter with the drive to learn new skills and become an expert in that field.A strong sense of teamwork working towards a common goal with process-oriented skills.Willingness to mentor more junior teammates.Additional QualificationsA Master's degree or equivalent work experience in the tech sector.Experience with cryptographic techniques and secure communications protocols.Experience with databases and/or deploying applications with any of the major cloud providers or database vendors.Experience with database programming and data models.A MongoDB Certification.Proficiency in more than one language.What You Will LearnWorking in a fast-paced tech company and being integrated into a "can-do" team where responsibility for your own work and intellectual honesty are crucial.The rapidly expanding MongoDB product suite, including Atlas (fully managed cloud database service), Queryable Encryption, and Field-level Encryption.Exposure to a wide variety of market verticals and a broad spectrum of interesting use cases.Understanding of product and program management in a fast-moving tech company.Process thinking, planning, and project management skills.Sales engagement models, sales qualification in a global company.
