As a People Manager, you ensure that the clinical Project Managers get the best out of themselves every day and that the team functions optimally. In addition, you are responsible for internal and external customer satisfaction. As a Senior Manager Project Management, you are responsible for a team of Project Managers and PM support employees of 15-20 FTE.Job summary:Responsible for the overall direction and management of projects through designated project managers, ensuring consistency with corporate strategy, consistency of processes across projects, and internal and external customer satisfaction.Directs and provides day-to-day oversight to the Project Managers.Provides vision to the department and overall lab organization.Accountable for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of all assigned projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.Acts as a Project Manager/Study Director in bioanalytical studies and serves as backup for Project Managers of the department.Recognize, exemplify, and adhere to ICON's values which center around our commitment to People, Clients, and Performance.Manage projects in accordance with the contract, agreed scope of work, and in adherence with ICON SOPs, GLP, and appropriate regulations, while liaising with other department managers as necessary to achieve this.Manage a portfolio consisting of high complexity projects and the overall process of planning, scheduling, and controlling the project from initiation to project closeout to ensure timely completion of the project in a manner that is consistent with the Project Management role
