We are currently seeking a highly driven Cybersecurity Specialist to join our Information Technology team in Madrid, Spain. Performance Objectives Safeguard information assets by helping to identify and escalate security events in accordance with local policy and procedure. Collaborate on defined risk remediation across functional teams as required. Make recommendations for changes or improvements to current systems. Ensure company information assets are kept up to date with security tools and meet our requirements. Provide supporting documentation, policy, and procedure maintenance. Participate in other general security or compliance-related projects as assigned. Respond to unknowns in the environment and document or update procedural response measures to security issues. Work on security-related projects, including assessment, design, and deployment of configuration management systems, and perform regular security assessments of existing infrastructure. Ensure that due care is used to mitigate and treat risks to the confidentiality, availability and integrity of systems or data. Competitive Candidate Profile C2 in English, other languages are a plus. Customer service skills. Passion for security. General understanding of security fundamentals. Problem Solving. Event and Incident Response. Education/Experience Bachelor's degree from a three or four-year college or university. 0 – 2 years of relevant work experience.
