Position overview At Siemens Mobility, we are looking for a passionate Cybersecurity Engineer who is excited by technical challenges and committed to taking railway cybersecurity to the next level. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that is revolutionizing the railway sector by securing critical infrastructure with innovative solutions. This is your role: You will design and implement cybersecurity solutions for cutting-edge global railway projects, overseeing the entire lifecycle of our solutions, from concept to deployment.You will collaborate closely with experts from various fields, acting as the key voice for cybersecurity in these projects.You will engage directly with clients and Project Managers to ensure our solutions meet their expectations and comply with the industry's strictest standards, such as IEC 62443 and CENELEC TS 50701.You will innovate applying technologies like SIEM, IDS, IAM, PKI, LRA, firewalls, and data diodes, among others, within railway signaling systems.You will face complex and ever-evolving environments where your initiative and problem-solving skills will be crucial. Activities and responsibilities: Report progress of cybersecurity engineering activities in projects.Ensure the assigned activities are done according to project goals and schedule plans.Ensure the assigned design, implementation, test and commissioning activities are done according to project requirements.Participation in the traceability of requirements of the project.Generation of technical specifications.Participation in the generation of the system's cybersecurity architecture and the bill of materials for the project.Participation in the generation of the different cybersecurity design documents and drawings.Generation and management of design change requests.Implementation, test and commissioning of cybersecurity solutions.System administration and support during project's execution phase.Generation of manuals and training documentation.Provide customer training.Provide support to the installation and maintenance works.Collaboration and support to other engineering teams.Communication and collaboration with other engineering areas and Siemens Mobility departments.Proactively identifies areas of innovation, opportunities for process improvement and cost reductions opportunities.Contribute to evolve traditional industrial architectures to modern, cybersecure infrastructures. What we are looking for in you: Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with experience in industrial cybersecurity or critical sectors.Knowledge about cybersecurity technologies: SIEM, IDS, IAM, PKI, LRA, firewalls, data diodes, and more.Ability to work in complex and dynamic environments, with the initiative to solve problems and adapt to uncertainty.Ability to interpret requirements, design solutions based on them, and implement systems that comply with customers' cybersecurity objectives.Knowledge of network security architecture concepts including topology, protocols, components, and principles.Knowledge of system engineering and system architecture.Ability to answer questions in a clear and concise manner.Passion for cybersecurity and a strong desire to learn about new technologies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to foster effective work in a cross-functional, multinational and diverse environment.Multi-tasking and prioritization skills.Continuous improvement mind-set as a must.Goal driven with customer orientation and teamwork skills.Proactive, self-driven and autonomous work.
